How much does custom software cost in Malaysia?

At Senang Code, custom systems start from RM2,999 for up to 8 basic features, RM5,999 for up to 18 features, and RM9,999+ for up to 30 core features or advanced customisation. The final price depends on complexity, number of users and roles, and integrations. Every project includes free 3 months maintenance.

How long does it take to build a custom system?

It depends on scope. As a guide, a simple Starter system usually takes a few weeks, a Business system with several modules takes longer, and complex systems with integrations and approvals are planned in phases. We give you a timeline together with the quotation.

Can you build a system based on my existing Excel workflow?

Yes. Most of our clients start with Excel, Google Sheets, WhatsApp or paper. We study how you work today, keep the parts that work, and turn the repeated steps into a system. Existing Excel data can usually be imported.

Do you integrate with SQL Account, AutoCount or Odoo?

We can connect to accounting and business software that offers an API or a reliable import/export format. We check what your software supports during scoping and include the integration in the quote.

Can my customers log into the system?

Yes. We build customer portals where customers can log in to book, order, pay, check progress, download documents or renew memberships.

Can you build a membership or subscription system?

Yes. Membership, points, renewals and recurring payments can be designed around your business model.

Do I own the source code?

Can I add more features later?

Yes. Systems are built so new modules can be added. Anything requested after the scope is confirmed is quoted separately as a Change Request, so the price is always clear.

What happens after the 3 months free maintenance?

You can continue with an optional monthly care plan: Basic Care (RM199/month) for monitoring, bug fixes, backups and security updates; Business Care (RM399/month) adding minor changes and priority support; or Premium (RM799/month) adding monthly modification hours. Bugs in agreed features are fixed; new features are quoted separately.
